The flat, smooth surface is heated from underneath, it is designed with the newest technology that provides even heat distribution.
Temperature distribution on the ST900E-FT eGrill is consistent across the entire surface, thereby increasing the cooking area by up to 30%. Due to the efficiency of the griddle, you can see low energy consumption, the company insists that the Synergy Griddle is the most energy efficient griddle on the market, saving operators 34% against a leading competitor (versus a larger cooking area size). In addition, the Synergy Griddle has a smaller temperature differential of just 5°C between the plate cycling on and off, in comparison to 30°C seen on other leading models, thereby giving a more consistent and reliable temperature for chefs.
